Report from the field

March 6, 2007

Yes, prospects are definitively bleak. The enemy (known in some lands as “my sister-in-law”) now has established close to a seven month head start with the launch of Elodie (pronounced El-Oh-Dee) Anderson – hereafter known as “Project Echo Alpha”. This has been a significant blow to our own campaign to develop a weapon of mass consumption, which is still in the developmental stages.

On a positive note, our intelligence agents have gathered some critical information about the scope of Project Echo Alpha. Some of the more intriguing statistics are as follows:

Weight: 8 lbs
Length: 20 inches
Launch Date: March 5, 2007
Launch Time: Approximately 1:00 a.m.
Launch Location: Sharp Hospital, San Diego, CA

After identifying critical chatter, our agents began an on-site surveillance effort beginning at 9:30 a.m., March 4, 2006. Surveillance was performed in shifts as the project administrators went from triage to being admitted to room 306. Our agents were present, albeit discreetly, for the entire project launch procedure. Photos were taken at strategic intervals including the one shown here.

It is expected that despite the chronological head start in terms of product launch, our own item, tentatively named “Project Tipper Gore” will be more advanced in post launch adaptation capabilities (including crucial aptitudes in comprehensive deductive reasoning, creative solution generation and potty-training).

  1. More advances…we shall see! Did you know my baby can already count to 5 and is only 40 hours old? Beat that!

  2. Robyn! How cute! Congratulations! Are you going to be up for running the marathon again this year. This is about the same time Shauna had her baby last year (Mar 1st) then ran the marathon with me in September! We need to see more pictures! Post them on myfamily.com too! We love you all!
